As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, she recognizes the deep bond we share with our pets, and the profound grief their passing brings. Drawing on her family’s long tradition of comforting others, Jaclyn founded Comforting Currents to offer a gentler, kinder, and eco-friendly approach to pet aftercare.

Jacyln’s commitment to animals goes beyond founding Comforting Currents, and includes giving back. As a volunteer and certified care-giver to animals in need of specialized attention and new homes, she dedicates time at Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue center. This eight-acre shelter and adoption center has a nearly perfect save rate, well above other shelters in the community. Highly trained in animal care as part of this ongoing volunteer program, she makes a life-changing difference for hundreds of animals.
